Here is something that I have been putzing around with for a little while. In theory it’s supposed to look like a larger fish chasing smaller bait fish. I am worried that the whole thing will spin too much. I’m sure the design will get modified once I get this thing in the water. I am trying lipped crank baits and rattle traps. Any guesses on which will work best?

that looks interesting, however it is illegal in minnesota. can’t use multiple hooks/baits like that.

Hey Rick, I wouldn’t have any hooks on the front baits. Not sure if you can see in the picture but the crankbaits already have them removed and I just didn’t remove them from the rattle traps yet….. bass season is on the horizon. I think the front hooks would just get fouled anyway.

I’ve been tinkering with something along those same lines but way more awesome. Not about to disclose my million dollar idea on a public website though. Unless the price is right.

…..Dohkay…. Pretty sure we already discussed this and I can tell you that your idea is pretty awesome but not a million dollar one….. Unless your Musky Mayhem. I heard they had another nice year.

Way to tear down my dreams of an early retirement Ryan. I’m going to put one together soon, I think I’ve got a pretty good idea on how to fabricate it. Again though, it’s similar to your idea, just way more awesome.

You just know that both of us are going to try these for about three casts and then we’ll just go to a regular double ten… haha.. Although I think these could be deadly ideas for night fishing and open water fishing.

Ha, no doubt. They sound cool right now, and in my head I can picture muskies attacking them. But come musky season, it’ll be hard to keep our old stand-by’s on the shelf.

I know, I am picturing myself taking it off after the first time it gets fouled on the cast. I think that and the rolling during the retrieve will be the two challenges.

Hi Chris, It was real good to see you. It was also good to see you looking at that new boat for so long. We would look pretty good fishing out of that boat on Chequamegon Bay this year…. We’ll talk soon about getting out….
