Fishing has been very steady. Water temps have been dropping steadily and the fish have been using the same spots for a couple weeks now. This time of year is interesting, we are seeing big panfish loaded in certain areas, large pike are being caught, and of course the muskies are lurking around these same areas. The main thing is finding out when they are feeding. We were catching a lot of fish late in the afternoon but the last few days they have been eating in the early afternoon while the sun is high. The fish are still hammering double dawgs. Although this has been extremely productive…. it might be time to drag some suckers around soon. Not my kind of fishing, but it’s gonna get cold and the big girls are going to be hungry!
