It’s been a while since my last report due to my computer going down! I’m all set up and ready to roll with a new set up here so I’ll try to keep the reports coming.
I’m not even sure where to start with my September report… I’ve been up north, out west and of course fishing the metro. We’ve had shallow, deep and night bites going as well. It seems like the every week has been a little bit different, this might be a product of where I’ve been fishing. However there has been more consistency in the month of September than there has been throughout the rest of the season. This consistency has only been good for a few days at a time in most instances.
At the beginning of the month, the hot bait in town was either a Musky Mayhem Double Showgirl, Big Mama Psycho Sister, or Pacemaker.
Mid Month the hot baits up north were Cowgirl Jr’s and Kramer Bros 8’s. Also, Musky Innovations new Ripping Dawg continued to produce as a casting bait.
Towards the end of the month we were able to score some nice fish on bigger blades like Musky Mayhem Super Models and Kramer 12’s. We also picked up a couple nice fish at night slow twitching a Big Game 12″
Here’s Matt Mears with 2 nice fish that he caught 3 casts apart from each other!
Here is Andy with his first Musky that came on a figure 8… He added his second muskie later that day (also in the figure 8). This guy has a good musky career in front of him. Andy can fish!
Here is Jeremy with a nice fish that ate a Super Model.
Gregg decided to skip Canada this year try his hand at some Minnesota fish. Here’s a nice one that he got on a Kramer Bros. 8
Mike scores right away on a new lake (to him) with a nice 4 footer.
Ben with his little acrobat…
Ken with a rare PIT tagged muskie out of White Bear Lake
